How to utilise 3D Model Viewer in PlusDesignBuild

For Windows PC:

The instructions below are on How to Utilise 3D Model Viewer in PlusDesignBuild.

1. Access the Model Viewer in the Extension >> PlusSpec >> Click 3D Model Viewer

2. Open the 3D Model Viewer Dialog >> Click Submit

3. Save the file to export.

4. File is successfully exported. Click Yes/OK to open the file.

5. Click OK to close the mouse navigation instruction.

6. Welcome to the 3D Model Viewer

Note: The 3D Model Viewer creates a file that currently can only be opened and viewed using a Google Chrome browser. Anyone trying to view the file will need to have Chrome downloaded and installed on their computer. The 3D Model Viewer doesn't natively work on iPhones & iPads (is should work for all other devices), but there may be apps out there that can do this.

To open and view the file you may be able to double-click it (depending on computer preferences/settings), otherwise, you'll need to right-click on the file and select 'Open with > Google Chrome' (see image below for more details).
