There can be a few reasons why PlusSpec doesn't appear when you first installed it. However, before you read any further, please ensure that you have correctly downloaded PlusSpec for your machine. Mac computers require an .RBZ file download, while Windows computers can download both .RBZ and .EXE files. Depending on what file type you have downloaded will change the installation process.
For SketchUp Versions 16 and Below
It is also possible that PlusSpec has not installed correctly. To check this, open SketchUp, then click Window/SketchUp > Preferences > Extensions. Amongst this drop-down list on the page, PlusSpec should be visible and ticked. If PlusSpec is not ticked, please tick it.

For SketchUp Versions 17 and Above
It is also possible that PlusSpec has not installed correctly. To check this, open SketchUp, then click Window/SketchUp > Extension manager. Amongst this list on the page, PlusSpec should be visible and enabled. If PlusSpec is not enabled, please tick it.

Why Does This Happen?
One of the most common causes for this issue is that you may have installed PlusSpec on another version of SketchUp. This can happen very easily but only takes a few minutes to install on to the correct version of Sketchup that you want to use.
